Derek Bufton, Tree and Fencing is a small family run business situated near Ludlow in South Shropshire with over 30 years experience, specialising in all arborist or tree surgeons work: tree surgery, tree felling (including windblown and dangerous trees), stump grinding, driveways & drainage, forestry operations, hedge maintenance, fencing, gate installation, JCB & mini digger work, hard landscaping, site preparation and clearance.   We also sell quality seasoned hardwood firewood logs, cut and split to your requirements.  Our work area covers Ludlow, Craven Arms, Bishops Castle, Bridgnorth,  Cleobury Mortimer,  Tenbury Wells, Bromyard, Leominster,  Kington,  Knighton and surrounding areas.

All operatives are NPTC/LANTRA trained and qualified and we have Public & Employer's Liability Insurance up to  £5m & Professional Indemnity Insurance.  We also hold a Waste Carriers Licence.

The majority of our customers have been with us for many years, and much of our work comes from customer referrals.  We offer a professional, customer friendly service and will advise on tree care and health, and give guidance on Conversation Areas, Tree Preservation Orders and planning permission.  All tree work is checked with the relevant local council prior to quoting, and if planning permission is required, we will also apply for this on your behalf.  All our tree work is carried out to  BS3998.

We have undertaken work under the Stewardship Schemes, also for Natural England (see Customer Testimonials) and local councils.
